Setting Goals - Why Is It Important To Set Goals?

Sometimes setting goals at all is the harder part of accomplishing any. Aren't you getting tired of trying to set goals for yourself and always finding that you have to do it again almost every other month?

Last year I was working for a company that people only dream of working for. I really enjoyed working there in the beginning. Something must have happened because I started hating going to work every morning. Most of the times, I wasn't even working 8 hours a day. They paid a really good salary and I appreciated it at first. I went on a 5 months study leave and when I went back to work, I realized that my time there was over. I continued to work there for another year. I was complaining all the time about everything. I was now like the people who had been at that company for over 30 years and were complaining all the time.

The thing is, I had other dreams, I wanted to follow. I had tried and failed before but I still had a burning desire to follow them. I wanted to run my life the way I wanted to. I wanted to be an entrepreneur, make music, travel and just be happy. I wanted to be my own man. I had these dreams since I was a child. I tried to do it in my early twenties, some worked some didn't. I felt it was time to just run with it. I read a lot of books about entrepreneurs, motivation and others. I was obviously just browsed through because I didn't use the lessons I had learned in those books.

My 17 year old sister, who is 14 years younger than me, said something to me that changed my life. She asked me why I was always complaining about my job. Before I could even answer, she commanded that I should stop work and do the things I'd always wanted to do. She then told me that , the reason why I'd failed before, was because of not setting goals and actually follow them though. At that time, I was just shocked at the way she was talking to me. I couldn't believe what was coming out of her mouth and most of all assessing my life. I wasn't saying much. She went on to tell me how to set goals and how to follow them through. She commanded me to follow them through or else I will certainly fail again. As she was talking, I started to realize that all that she was saying was true. I had heard it before but just didn't take it. From that moment, I felt powerful inside and I decided to write my resignation letter. My sister helped me to write the letter. I didn't submit it for about 3 months because I was organizing my new life. I finally left my job and was on my way to live my life for me.

Now, setting goals was easy, but following them through was hard. I had to shuffle them around all the time, and I still do. When you set goals, you have to decide what goals are important. Write down a list of all your goals and then re-order them by importance. In the beginning, you must decide which one you will start with, and then focus on that one. Once you've done that, you must do a clear and easy action plan. You must try and follow your action plan everyday. If you don't have discipline, get help from the people closest to you. Try different methods, if one doesn't work. I guarantee that, if you just do these simple steps, you'll start seeing the results of your hard work. Remember, you have to do this if you want to succeed in your life.

You have to push yourself sometimes, I know some of us are just lazy or just don't want to try because of previous failures. Just try and you'll be surprised at what could happen. It doesn't matter what age, you just have to be dedicated. I see my mother studying every year and sometimes I ask myself why she puts herself under that stress. I have finally accepted that it's what she wants to do with her her life and she's happy. That's the most important thing, happiness.

So, I hope that what I've written here will change someone's life as it has mine. I still learn as I go and if something doesn't work, I find another way to go at it. There are still challenges, but now at least I know where my life is heading. The choices I'm making are mine and for me. I'm not an expert but I've learned a lot through my journey. Get books, dvd's or other things to help you get on track with your your life.

Internet Scammers!!!

Hi Guys

I thought I should write a warning about internet scammers. I've been a victim already and paid big time for it.

A few months ago, I signed up for an ebay sellers account. I wanted to sell products using drop shippers. I searched for good drop shippers for a couple of weeks and then found a place called wholesale central (which is good), which has a list of drop shipping companies. Most of the companies on the site are legitimate and so they wanted too much information and money. I then found a couple of sites listed by ebay that offers a similar service as wholesale central. I trusted these companies as they were refared by ebay.

I joined both companies which were listed on the ebay information site. I cant name them because they might sue me. Anyways, I started to search for products I could sell on ebay. I found a lot of them and at affordable prices. I added the owners to my network list and they aproved. I then added some of these products on ebay. Two days after posting the products, I received 7 orders with a total of
$3 469.00. I was extreamely happy. I started communicating with the drop shippers and everything was good.

On day 3 of the orders, I placed the orders with the drop shipping companies through the service provider. I received an email from the dro shipping company , just an hour after placing the order. They asked me to pay via Western Union because their paypal account is suspended. Now, this service provider warns people about using Western Union for payment. When someone asks you to pay via Western Union, It's normally a scam! All the companies listed on that service provider are supposed to be paypal verified. I emailed the service provider about the issue and the reply was cold. I replied to the drop shipper and told them I wont pay via Western Union, period! I started to look for other drop shippers with the same product and there were many of them. I new, I was going to either loose my profit or be scammed. I contacted all the drop shipping companies on the service provider's list and THEY WERE ALL asking me to pay via Western Union!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scamers!!!!!!!

I didn't know what to do. I couldn't sleep for days because I know how strict eBay is. Well, few days later after contacting eBay, my eBay's seller account was suspended. I went crazy. I still had these orders and the money was already paid to me and still no products. I was worried that the buyers will start thinkin I'm a scam too. I contacted the customers and expalined the situation to them. They also started to freek out. I decide to return all the money back to them. I had to pay tranfare fees which were all over $200. I lost money just like that.

Okay,,, here is the thing and this is a warning to you guys... There is a a fake Drop Shipping Company which offers a Frenchise at 70 UK pounds a once off fee. Stay Away from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not saying their name too but if you search for Drop Shippers this particular company appears on the 1st page. Guys they are scammers!!!! Please listen to me ... I applied because I thought it was a good deal, I mean 70 pounds only and you get a free website with 2000 products. My order was stopped because my credit card was declined due to insuficient funds at the time. I then received an email from them telling me to try again and I can chat to them live via messenger and I can come visit their ware house. HHHHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! They even have a picture of the so called ware house. I searched their particualr location using Google Map. The nice thing with google map is you can see the pictures of the the addresses. I searched and the address is a small English house. I emailed them and told them my findings and asked them to give me a propper address So I can visit as they offered. They never replied after I told them I didn't see their Warehouse. These guys are good at defending their company on scammers lists. I will post their address tomorrow... and you can see for yourselves.. I will actually post the name too......

Beware guys....!!!!!!!!!!! Beware There are actually more of these scammers. I will post everyday and add more and with names..... PLEASE CHECK as often as you can. This blog is actually for Internet biz but I decided to start with Internet scammers because they will take your money if you are starting out.
